ClimaGuard nrG is a powerful insulating glass. As part of a double- or triple-glazed window unit, it minimizes heat loss to maintain desirable inside temperatures—so homeowners consume less energy and save more money. The level of insulation made possible by ClimaGuard nrG minimizes cold downdraughts, maintain comfort even when close to the window. It also helps prevent condensation on the inner pane.

Warms the home by harnessing passive solar heat

When outside temperatures drop, ClimaGuard nrG helps keep homes warm and snug inside. At the same time, it warms the home naturally by letting in available solar heat. ClimaGuard nrG is part of triple-glazed window units certified as passive house components by Dr. Wolfgang Feist of the Passivhaus Institute, Germany.

Beautifully clear and colorless

In colder regions, every ray of natural light is worth savoring. Many low-E windows save energy at the expense of clarity—but not ours. Supremely clear and color neutral, ClimaGuard nrG can be used with Guardian ExtraClear™ float glass to create super insulating triple-glazed units with light transmission comparable to ordinary double-glazed windows—and without the expense of specialized low-iron glass.
