Secondary glazing is an independent system fitted on the inside of existing windows. Units hold glazing in frames of timber, aluminium or plastic. Secondary glazing reduces heat loss from your home’s windows in cold climates and blocks unwanted heat in warmer climates.

Units are removable or can be opened in order to clean or open the window itself. The outside appearance of the window is preserved. Economical and permanent, secondary glazing also provides sound insulation if the panes are sufficiently wide apart and sealed correctly.
