Our entrepreneurial spirit sets us apart
Guardian Industries is a private, diversified and global company headquartered in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Guardian and its family of companies employ 18,000 people and operate facilities in North America, Europe, South America, Africa, the Middle East and Asia, with the vision of creating value for customers and society through constant innovations using the least amount of resources.
In Brazil since 1994, Guardian Glass is one of the world's largest manufacturers of flat glass, value-added products and solutions for the residential and commercial segments. Manufactured in the plants of Tatuí (SP) and Porto Real (RJ), with the highest level of technology, quality and punctual delivery, the products are adapted to the local market and are distinguished by versatility, beauty, innovation and durability.
Guardian's portfolio of glass and mirrors for decoration compose the InGlass Line, which also includes the Guardian Evolution Mirror. Also in the portfolio we have solar control glass for the commercial and residential segments which composes the SunGuard Line. These products can reduce by up to 70% the energy consumption generated by air-conditioning and provide thermal and lighting comfort. The foundation of Guardian's success is the result of constant technological innovation and continuous improvement, which places the company as a benchmark in trends and a relevant content provider, with a strong investment in a team of professionals who make a difference.
Guardian is ready to meet the challenges of the coming decades with new products and solutions that meet the needs of our ever-growing product base. It is our great foundation — along with thousands of committed people — that has made the first 85 years possible.
