Patented Silacoat® process offers enhanced chemical and mechanical durability when compared to traditional sputter-coated products
SunGuard® Solar
Excellent balance between light and heat. Extremely stable color regardless of viewing angle, even when laminated, due to the TrueColor technology only Guardian has.
What is TrueColor technology?
Developed by Guardian Brazil, the exclusive TrueColor technology eliminates the effects of distortion of color, guaranteeing greater purity and fidelity to the original tone, in any angle of view. Thus, in case of replacement or purchase of different lots, the facade will always present perfect and uniform colors. The important thing is that this characteristic remains even after lamination, avoiding the yellowing that occurs with other types of reflective glass. All this aesthetic quality, coupled with excellent light transmission and high performance in blocking solar heat, adds an unparalleled value to the project
Patented Silacoat® process offers enhanced chemical and mechanical durability when compared to traditional sputter-coated products
Can be tempered, heat-strengthened, curved, or screen-printed with approved enamels
For both annealed and heat-treated applications
Consistent reflection and transmission colour
Does not require edge deletion

Displayed colors are intended to represent actual color. Color is a function of light and reflectivity and cannot be accurately portrayed online. Actual glass samples should be used to determine color. Please order a sample and discuss color with your Guardian Architectural Design Manager to ensure you are pleased with your SunGuard selection before ordering glass for your project.
The thermal stress guideline is only a rough guide to the thermal safety of a glazing. Other factors such as large glass areas, shapes and patterns, thick glass, glass damaged during shipping, handling or installation, orientation of the building, exterior shading, overhangs/fins that reduce wind speed, and areas with high daily temperature fluctuations can all increase the probability of thermal breakage. The results shown are not for any specific glazing installation and do not constitute a warranty against glass breakage.
