Health Care

UC Davis proudly opened a new eye center as an inspired addition to its freshly renovated Ambulatory Care Center. The new facility is designed with intentionality to support leading-edge innovation in eye care and sight restoration, attract and teach the world’s top eyecare clinicians, and welcome patients of all abilities with a comfortable, intuitive experience defined by textures and high-contrast colors. A strategic part of this design, the building’s façade is made with high performing SunGuard® SNX 51/23 on clear glass. With its subtle blue hue and low reflectivity, the glass promotes daylighting and reduces visual barriers for the low-vision patients navigating its interior spaces.
