The Tilman J. Fertitta Family College of Medicine at the University of Houston is a landmark addition to the city’s medical landscape. Nestled on 43 acres of the university’s campus, this three-story structure stands as the inaugural building in the university’s visionary medical district. It achieved LEED® Gold certification, representing a milestone in sustainable design for the campus. The exterior mixes the university’s signature limestone with expansive glass accents featuring SunGuard™ SNX 51/23 on clear glass, creating a luminous and welcoming learning environment. Energy efficiency takes center stage, with passive daylighting and innovative design elements contributing to optimized performance.
