The Austin Peay State University Health Professions Building in Clarksville, Tennessee, designed by Hastings Architecture, brings together a range of health and behavioral sciences programs within a modern, light-filled environment. Its extended wings, transparent façades, and green terraces are designed to foster connection, wellbeing, and openness across the campus. To support this vision, Guardian SunGuard® SNX 70+ coated glass was specified for its high visible light transmission and advanced solar control, helping to maximize natural daylight while reducing heat gain and glare. As one of the first large-scale installations of SNX 70+ in North America, the project demonstrates how innovative glass technology can enhance both architectural expression and energy performance — achieved through close collaboration with Oldcastle and Alexander Metals.
