Professional project photography of Bailey South in Winston-Salem, NC.

Bailey South, a six-story, 75,000-square-foot mixed-use gem nestled in the heart of the Innovation Quarter, embodies Winston-Salem’s “live, work, play” ethos. Formerly a coal-fired power plant, the structure elegantly pays homage to its industrial roots while setting a contemporary vision for the city’s future. The historic building is embraced on three sides by a gleaming new glass-and-brick addition, offering sharp contrast to the weathered, industrial profile of the original structure. The expansive curtainwalls are clad in SunGuard™ SNR 43 coating on clear glass. The low level of interior reflectivity of the glass helps provide panoramic views of the city. An historic railway repurposed into a pedestrian bridge creates a dramatic entrance, offering sidewalk access to the second floor and doubling the retail space to over 33,000 square feet.
