Marianne and Edward Gibson Art Museum

Recognized with a Canadian Architect Award of Merit, this art museum uses expansive exterior glazing to create visual continuity between the interior galleries and surrounding woods and mountains. It features oversized insulated glass units paired with SunGuard™ SN 68 coating on Guardian UltraClear™ low-iron glass to deliver abundant natural light. Integrating glass into this fully electric building and mass timber structure supports Simon Fraser University’s net-zero ambitions and LEED Gold® target.
