The Wharf Parcel 8

A new addition to the Wharf District, Parcel 8 – Pendry Hotel and Tides Apartments – pushes the boundaries of sloped buildings. The U-shaped structure with two 13-story towers (a hotel on the west and residential units on the east) overlooks the Potomac River. Glass windows featuring SunGuard™ SN 68 on clear glass unify distinct design features, including offset floors and zig-zagged vertical corners. The project team was impressed by the high visible light transmission and low reflectivity of the glass and selected it for its ability to meet LEED® Silver energy performance.
