In collaboration with Morley Glass and ToughGlaze, here at Guardian we have used our extensive expertise in the commercial glass market to identify an effective glazing solution for residential homes across the United Kingdom.
ClimaGuard 365 is a glazing solution using the same glass coating technology Guardian uses on high-rise commercial buildings around the world. Using this technology we've created a 365 day a year glazing solution to help maintain lower internal temperatures in your home through summer heat waves and through cold winter months.

Choosing the right type of glass is key to help keep the summer heatwaves at bay and avoid extreme measures to keep your home cool!
Utilizing our expertise in commerical glass coating, we have adapted the SN 75 SunGuard coating technology for residential applications. This highly selective coating maintains high levels of light, keeping your home bright and comfortable, without a discernible tint to the glass. The coating also reflects over 60% of the suns heat away from the glass before it is able to enter your home. This performance can help to keep your home up to 9°C cooler through the summer months.*
The highly neutral coating used in ClimaGuard 365 works seamlessly with the integral blinds supplied by Morley Glass. The coating has little to no impact on the appearance of the blinds, maintaining their intended colour once installed in the insulating glass unit.

Year-round solution
When the summer heat waves leave, and the cold winter nights start to take hold, ClimaGuard 365 changes gear. The low emissivity aspect of the coating reflects the warmth back into your home, providing crucial insulation with a 1.0 W/m²K U-value in a double glazed unit. This helps keep you warm through the winter month while supporting energy efficiency.
Collaboration
ClimaGuard 365 has been developed through a collaboration between Guardian Glass, Morley Glass and ToughGlaze, combining expertise in glass coatings, integral blinds and insulating glass units. The result is a glazing solution designed to help maintain comfort throughout the year, whatever the weather.
At Guardian Glass we are manufacturing the glass and the coating technology used to power ClimaGuard 365 with the energy performance required.
With over 30 years’ experience ToughGlaze are one of the UK's leading processors of glass, they prepare the glass supplied by Guardian Glass, process and toughen it to the highest standard, before shipping it to Morley Glass.
Morley Glass are the UK’s largest supplier of integral blinds, as well as selling high-performance glazing. Morley Glass are fabricating the glass supplied by Guardian Glass and ToughGlaze into the final ClimaGuard 365 insulating glass units.
