The 75,000 square metres façade features a curtain wall that is double glazed to allow for a high solar protection on neutral-looking glass.

Fruit and Wool Exchange

The new-build façades are predominately brick-faced, with punched windows to reflect the surrounding context.

The glass that helps
reduce the carbon impact of your windows

The choices you make for your home can have an impact beyond comfort and design. The materials used in your windows also contribute to the overall environmental performance of your home.

Guardian NEXA™ 9 glass is produced at some of our most efficient furnaces in Europe, thus reducing the carbon emissions when compared to our standard glass, offering a lower-carbon glass option while maintaining the same performance, appearance, and quality you expect for your windows.

Designed for informed choices

Guardian NEXA 9 helps reduce the embodied carbon of your glazing.

Lower carbon
emissions during production

Reduces by ~10% the CO₂ emissions associated with the manufacturing of the glass compared to our standard float glass*.

No compromises
on performance

Maintains the transparency and aesthetics of standard glass and can be combined with glass technologies that provide thermal insulation, solar control, or noise reduction

*The cradle-to-gate (i.e. from the sourcing of raw materials to the manufacturing site gate) embodied carbon value of Guardian NEXA 9 is 8.58 kg CO2eq/m2 per 4 mm glass. This represents a reduction of ~10% compared to Guardian ExtraClear™ standard float glass, which has an embodied carbon value of 9.64 kg CO2eq/m2 for 4 mm glass. These values are derived from third party verified Environmental Product Declarations.
