Sunlight can make a home feel bright and welcoming. But when too much solar heat enters through the windows, rooms can quickly become uncomfortable.
Guardian Sun™ 35 glass has solar control properties designed to help reduce the amount of solar heat entering your home through the windows in summer. Unlike some solar protection solutions that may block sunlight, it helps manage solar heat while still allowing plenty of natural daylight and clear views.
It also helps retain warmth indoors during colder months for all year-round-comfort.

An independent study has shown that glazing using Guardian Sun 35 glass can help reduce indoor temperatures on hot summer days compared to standard thermal insulation glazing. By combining solar control and thermal insulation in one glazing solution, Guardian Sun 35 helps create a comfortable home environment throughout the year.

We have developed the Guardian Sun packages, which group different glazing options together, to help you choose the right window glass easily based on your needs. Discover the different Guardian Sun packages and how they can help enhance comfort in your home.
Guardian Sun 35 glass includes a special coating designed to manage how heat and light pass through the glass. The coating allows around 70% of natural daylight to enter while blocking around 65% of the solar heat.
