Description of the project

Designed by Squire & Partners, Chelsea Creek is a residential-led, mixed use development located in Fulham, London. The property development is positioned alongside Imperial Wharf and Chelsea Harbour as part of an ultra-smart riviera. Attractively designed gardens look out onto a dockside dotted with trendy bars and restaurants. The project involves two distinct character zones that transform what was a derelict and inaccessible area into a thriving new sustainable community.

The architect’s vision for Chelsea Creek was to bring a characteristically European feel of waterside living to London and so Amsterdam and Copenhagen were cited as inspirations to the design. Traditional English gardens are replaced with waterways and tree lined promenades, creating a place of immense  character and charm.

Guardian SunGuard® SuperNeutral (SN) 70/37 coated solar control glass was chosen for the glazed façade. The glass has a beautiful, neutral, transparent appearance with low reflection and consistent colour. The multifunctional coating also minimises the need for artificial light and offers outstanding thermal insulation, ensuring that residents stay comfortable all year round.
