Whatever the construction challenge, we have the glass to help meet it.
See how the correct choice of glass can help transform a home – and even our wellbeing.
What modern glass can do
How and where glass is used
How glass is made and what it offers
The 75,000 square metres façade features a curtain wall that is double glazed to allow for a high solar protection on neutral-looking glass.
The new-build façades are predominately brick-faced, with punched windows to reflect the surrounding context.
Curved glass, punch windows and precast stone panels make up the envelope on a figure-of-eight footprint.

Designed by Alpha Studio, the Conarg office building in Bucharest has a glazed façade that makes intelligent use of Guardian SunGuard™ SuperNeutral (SN) 63 coated solar control glass. SunGuard SN63 allows an abundance of natural light to enter the building, with a light transmission of 63%, while solar heat is reduced due to a solar factor of 33%. Combined with an ultra-low Ug value of 1.0 W/M2K, the glass creates a barrier in the façade, helping to reduce heat loss from the building. All this is delivered in a glass with a very low external reflection of 12% and neutral and low internal reflection of 16%. This performance helps to achieve the desired design objectives, while contributing to a more comfortable working environment.
* All performance values are for a standard double-glazed unit: 6mm coated glass, 16 mm Argon filled gap, 4 mm float glass.
