Description of the project

With its walkways serving as a bridge between floors, a hanging garden, meeting places and workspaces, the Factory + Loft building in Clichy, France, is a modern, flexible, multi-use retail and office building. Designed by Brenac & Gonzalez & Associés agency, the building has attained HQE Construction Exceptional level, BREEAM Very Good level and Well Silver level.

Guardian SunGuard™ SuperNeutral (SN) 70/35 coated solar control glass was chosen for the building’s visually striking glazed facade. SN 70/35 was selected due to its uniformity of color and its excellent ratio between solar control and light transmission. The glass helps minimize the need for artificial light and offers excellent solar protection properties, combined with outstanding thermal insulation. The glass also has a beautiful, neutral, transparent appearance with low reflection and consistent color. The glazed façade helps provide comfort for occupants.
