Hillshire Brands HQ

Following extensive renovation, the 270,000-square-foot Hillshire Brands Company headquarters was reimagined into a striking emblem situated at a prominent site. The overhaul of the former military building involved replacing the façade with new windows and precast panels, deftly preserving the original brick at the building’s focal points. The redesign retained the sleek character of the original structure while infusing the perimeter with natural light and panoramic views of the Chicago skyline. The incorporation of bent glass continued a ribbon of windows clad in SunGuard™ SN 68 glass. The neutral color of the glass complemented the original streamlined 1940s aesthetic.
