Facing urgent structural challenges, the One Montgomery Plaza government and court complex demanded a swift and budget-conscious transformation. The phased construction approach allowed the complex to remain fully operational. The innovative redesign replaced failing masonry walls with an alternative reskin using cost-effective metal panels. Upgrades included a new façade with energy efficient, fixed pane thermal windows featuring SunGuard™ Neutral 78/65 on UltraClear glass and SNR 43 on clear glass. The windows enhanced the building’s overall beauty while contributing to energy efficiency – achieving the project’s primary purpose to create a more welcoming environment.
