Highlights
122 Leadenhall - The Cheesegrater

The 75,000 square metres façade features a curtain wall that is double glazed to allow for a high solar protection on neutral-looking glass.

Fruit and Wool Exchange

The new-build façades are predominately brick-faced, with punched windows to reflect the surrounding context.

Caudwell International

Curved glass, punch windows and precast stone panels make up the envelope on a figure-of-eight footprint.

UNC Health Blue Ridge Morganton Campus

A new, highly modern patient tower addition to this existing medical campus required high-performance glass poised to match the aesthetic and elevate utility. SunGuard™ SN 68 on gray glass was the obvious choice to check all the performance, design and energy boxes while framing views to the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Guardian and its partners developed strategies for enhancing acoustic performance using various glazing unit configurations, as this would impact the size and weight of the glazing unit’s compatibility with glazing systems used to capture glass. SN 68 meets specific North Carolina energy codes as well as enhanced acoustic requirements with Outdoor/Indoor Transmission Class targets at glazing locations to meet specific patient standards, like the tower’s new roof-to-helicopter landing pad.
