The University of California – Riverside School of Medicine Education Building II blends form and function to create a forward-looking space for medical education and collaboration. The building features a dynamic multistory curtain wall with varying window sizes across each elevation, creating visual interest while supporting its flexible and adaptable design. SunGuard® SNX 62/27 coating on clear glass was used to achieve the project’s goals of maximizing visible light transmission and maintaining a comfortable learning environment. Outdoor seating, terraces and landscaping connect the building to the surrounding School of Medicine Plaza, fostering collaboration and offering spaces for respite. This state-of-the-art facility provides essential room for growth and innovation in medical education.
