About the project

A technology center inside the PUC university in Porto Alegre, Brazil. The SunGuard HP solar control glass was the perfect choice for providing comfort and beauty to the project.

Global Tecnopuc is a building of more than four thousand square meters in the PUC-RS university, in partnership with HP, inaugurated in October 2015, in Porto Alegre. The facade has about 3,000 square meters and received the SunGuard laminated Neutral Plus 50 solar control glass.

The project required a glass with high thermal performance and green aesthetics to integrate the building with the campus, since the place is very wooded. As it is still a building dedicated to technology, the glass should also be in line with this profile.

Allied to this, because it is a teaching institution, glass should also favor light transmission so that the environments are as light as possible, we use less artificial lighting.
