Guardian BIM tools

Whatever glass your design project requires – monolithic, double glazed or triple glazed IGUs – Guardian BIM tools provided here allow you to download and create specific glass objects for your BIM project and fit these into any window or glazing system, from balustrades and facades, to partitions, stairs, entrance doors, skylights and external shading fins. Determine the glass makeup and specify the expected thickness of the glass, IGU construction, cavity size, gas, etc.

Guardian BIMobjects have been produced by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and are tailored to be as compatible and easy to use as possible with BIM authoring software.

Each Guardian product has two types of file associated: components and materials. These are produced in IFC and Revit format.

Components are used to create the BIMobject within the project design.

Materials are associated with the components and provide the product data set.
