A new kind of high-rise for Dubai!
UNS, in partnership with Werner Sobek, has been commissioned by the wasl Development Group to create a new type of high-rise for the city of Dubai, which will serve as a standard for both the region and the wasl Development Group itself.
The skyscraper features a twisting design with fins that allow it to ‘face every direction,’ incorporating shading and cooling techniques to minimize heat gain during the summer months. These shading fins also incorporate dynamic lighting that interacts with the city's activities at night.
The Guardian glass solution for the tower facades utilizes advanced solar and low-e technology to provide natural light transmission, solar control, and thermal insulation.
This innovation could lessen the dependence on artificial lighting, contributing to a more serene and enjoyable living environment. It is centered on distinguishing the Al Wasl tower’s façades with a vibrant bronze hue while fulfilling the highest thermal standards.
Our glass solution also ensures low internal and external reflections, along with a high color rendering index “CRI” for clearer views and an impressive exterior appearance.
