Glass flooring

Glass flooring for your home

Glass flooring allows light to pass through, reducing the need for artificial lighting and providing a natural source of daylight.

Glass floors add a stylish, elegant touch to your home

Glass can be safely used for flooring in a home, bringing light and elegance to any interior. By introducing natural daylight through the core of a building, glass flooring can open up living space and transform your interior into stylish, elegant surroundings.

Glass flooring tends to be relatively thick and heavy and so the support system for the glass needs to be adequate in order to prevent distortion under load. Laminated safety glass is often recommended. The finished surface of the glass will also require anti-slip properties. An etched or printed surface can improve grip and help to avoid slipping.
