An iconic landmark on the Lyon skyline, the Incity tower is the tallest high-rise in the city and the third tallest in France.
Designed by architecture firms Valode & Pistre and AIA, the Incity tower is the first city centre skyscraper in France to receive HQE® (Haute Qualité Environnementale) certification (recognition of a project’s high environmental quality).
The tower is a symbol of energy efficiency, where the penetration of natural light and the comfort of the workspaces are at the heart of the interior layout. As for its design, the building displays a sleek, elegant silhouette adorned with a sophisticated, aesthetically pleasing glass double skin façade. It is topped by a 50-metre mast and has become one of the symbols of the reinvention of La Part-Dieu business district, offering a magnificent view of the city.
Guardian SunGuard® High Durable (HD) Silver 70 coated solar control glass was selected for the double skin façade. This highly durable coating provides a high light transmission of 70% combined with a solar factor of 72% and provides a beautiful, almost diamond-like appearance.
