Guardian SatinDeco® is a translucent, satin-feel glass that also has a high level of natural light transmittance. Not only does this allow abundant light through, it gently diffuses it to create environments that seem to glow.
Glass that glows from within
Guardian SatinDeco® glass offers the benefit of high natural light levels yet at the same time privacy, reduced glare and an attractive tactile quality. It’s created using our own unique acid-etching process. This partially dissolves the glass surface to leave a smooth and uniform matte finish.
Long lasting good looks
The uniform etching of SatinDeco® also helps make marks such as fingerprints less visible. The glass is often used in interior applications such as doors, partitions, retail displays, elevators, floors, stairs, and tabletops.
Available with added protection
SatinDeco® can also be laminated to add benefits like enhanced security, UV protection and sound control.
