Turning a bathroom into a sanctuary

Shower glass can help a small or dark bathroom become a light-filled space, allowing decorative touches to shine through.

Transforming Your Bathroom with Stain-Free Glass

ShowerGuard: Bathroom Glass That Cleans Better Looks New Forever

Why glass?

Ideally a bathroom is a sanctuary; a comfortable, private space in which to escape. And even the smallest bathroom can be transformed into such a cocoon with a few changes – starting with the shower surround.

Why glass?

Glass shower doors or panels allow light to move through a space, helping to make bathrooms appear bigger, lighter and more open. By contrast, a shower curtain divides the room, and can make a tight space look even smaller.

Shower glass is also easier to clean than a shower curtain, which can collect moisture and mold or mildew, trapping bacteria. Replacing with glass helps eliminate this issue. It also forms a transparent “frame” for tiles, fixtures and décor – helping your style choices to truly shine through.

What kind of glass?

Do you know glass is porous? It may appear hard and smooth, but in fact the surface of shower glass can be damaged by elements like soap residue and hard water. These can corrode shower glass permanently and dull its appearance.

There are two ways to protect the glass:

  • By applying a special coating during the manufacturing process that permanently seals the surface of the glass. Making it smooth, easy to clean and highly resilient to dirt, soap and hard water.
  • By applying a protective spray or wipe-on product. These usually have a limited lifespan and can even degrade after just a few months.

If you are investing in your dream bathroom, why not use the finest bathroom glass?

Now envision your ideal bathroom. Do you see clear glass, or does your view have a bluish-green tint? Today’s easy-to-maintain shower glass is also available in low-iron glass. The low iron content means the glass’ appearance is crystal clear and has color-neutral edges, making it ideal for frameless shower glass panels.
