Glass manufacturing
This is the step Guardian Glass takes care of: we produce float glass, and apply a permanent coating to the glass to add thermal performance.
Glass fabrication into an IGU
Large sheets of glass are processed into insulated glass units (IGUs), commonly known as double or triple glazing.

Strong Regional Manufacturing Footprint
We operate eight manufacturing sites across the United States and Mexico, producing float glass at every site, with high-performance coated glass produced at six of them.
More than half of our production goes into residential applications, giving us deep expertise in residential glazing. We also make glass for offices and other large buildings, which allows us to bring a wider range of experience to windows.
This regional footprint helps support strong product availability, short lead times, and reliable supply for your windows.
