2025 Revision Compliance
ClimaGuard™ residential glass takes the homework out of California Title 24 compliance with solutions that work across all 16 climate zones. Handle it all with advanced triple silver coating technology – the ClimaGuard portfolio provides code-compliant thermal and solar control performance. ClimaGuard 53/23 with IS 20 stands out as a single specification capable of meeting requirements statewide. Manufactured in California, these glass coating options are engineered for high-performance and support fast, cost-effective delivery.
The 2025 Title 24 revision increases energy efficiency requirements across building systems, including window performance. The new criteria apply to windows in newly constructed single-family homes and additions with permits issued on or after January 1, 2026, and also to replacement window installations over 75 ft2.
In Northern California zones, new Title 24 reduces maximum U-Value from 0.30 to 0.27. For the Inland South zone, it reduces SHGC from 0.23 to 0.20. In the Coastal South zones, Title 24 requirements for these factors are unchanged.
The ClimaGuard portfolio includes advanced triple silver glass solutions engineered to meet 2025 Title 24 requirements across California’s full range of climate zones – often with little to no change to existing window designs. For added simplicity, ClimaGuard 53/23 with IS 20 interior surface coating provides a single-specification solution capable of meeting performance targets in all 16 climate zones.
