The first permanent structure of the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV, the new medical education building is the pride of the local medical district, where it advances health sciences in Southern Nevada. The five-story, 135,000-square-foot structure provides powerful insulation against the sizzling Vegas sun with large expanses of curtain wall in a region where more solid, opaque architecture dominates. SunGuard® 62/27 on clear glass helps make it happen, with a low reflective quality that shows off the school’s innovative interiors.
